C2 Consulting has a long history of providing exceptional training. We are excited to announce that we have teamed up with Oracle University's Workforce Development program to offer both in-class and online training. The training that we offer fully complies with Oracle Education's requirements for Oracle Certifications.

Online Classes - Cloud Edition

Online classes give access to pre-recorded hosted content delivered by Oracle University. The following Online Cloud Edition Classes are being offered by C2 Consulting:

• Infrastructure as a Service
• Database
• SQL
• PL/SQL
• Java
• Node.js

Each of the above classes includes all official Oracle University training material in PDF form watermarked with the student's name and 6 months of online access (from the date of invoice) to the hosted servers used for training. All the above classes, except for the Node.js class, also include an exam voucher allowing you to take the exam associated with the class.

As an added bonus, each online class will also include access to one of our live instructors to discuss the material and address any questions that may have come up during the class. These sessions will be held each week at the end of the week for up to three hours.

Instructor Lead Training

C2 Consulting still believes strongly in direct instructor lead training. The material we use is the official Oracle University material in PDF form watermarked with the student's name and includes a voucher for the exam associated with the class. The classroom environment includes access to the servers used to deliver the training during classroom time. Students are encouraged to build their own virtual machines (either on their own laptops or desktops, or possibly on the Oracle, Amazon, or Microsoft cloud services), or download pre-built virtual machines from Oracle to practice outside of class.

In traditional Oracle University instructor lead training, classes are taught in consecutive 8 hour days. This is an excellent format for those who want a quick refresher or who can absorb content very quickly. C2 takes a more measured approach and limits the amount of classroom time to less than 12 hours per week, often taught in 3 hour increments 2 or 4 times a week. This allows students to have more time to absorb the material and allows for more lab time than a traditional drink from the firehose approach where all content is delivered in a 5 day or less period. Both students and businesses have reported that this more measured approach also allows students to take care of normal job duties while still having time to learn new skills.
